Questions for Ms. Klein
I think I remember Priya saying we needed to post on the blog a question we would like to ask Naomi Klein. I would really like to ask her where she came up with the idea to connect electro shock therapy and the economics behind the shock doctrine and disaster capitalism. It makes plenty of sense but they are two concepts that I would never have put together myself.

I think that's a great question to ask. I would also like to ask about the kinds of reactions she has received about this Shock Doctrine she wrote about. Has there been any government retaliation from people like Dick Cheney? Or did they just shrug it off as a part of the media bashing they always receive? I think, if possible, I'll ask something among those lines.
id like to ask her why she thinks capital and military doctrine are the best lens through which we can view the issues that most concern her; why is framing her arguments in the same discourse of military doctrine ("shock and awe") productive? shouldnt we divorce ourselves of this discourse to distance ourselves from the outcome?
I want dialogue on what to do with all the information she presents. I look for what do with information in everything I do and I felt helpless after reading the articles. So maybe something along those lines?
